Woodbury Heights Fire Department is an all volunteer department located in Southern New Jersey, Gloucester County. The department is a municipal department governed by New Jersey State Statue and The Borough of Woodbury Heights Municipal Ordinance. The department consists of a Chief, a Deputy Chief, an Assistant Chief, Captain, Lieutenant, and a Safety Officer, and 34 volunteer firefighters / EMS personnel.. These volunteers put in countless hours fighting fires, responding to EMS calls, and training during the year.
The Chief, Deputy Chief, and Assistant Chief are elected by the Active Firefighters of the Department on an annual basis and are sworn in as Municipal Officials of the Borough.
The department maintains 1 pumper, 1 Squad Company, 1 command car , and 1 utility truck. This equipment is housed in the fire station located at 534 Elm Ave. in the Borough of Woodbury Heights. The Fire Station is owned and maintained by the Fire Association (Woodbury Heights Improvement, Protective and Fire Association)..

I couldn't say any word when i saw what these brave men do! I was impressed that these people don't do it for the money, they do it for the love for the profession.
